Boy, it was a long wait. Finally it was my turn to run. The horn beated and away I ran. I was running as fast as I could. Look I was in front but running out of energy. I was getting stitch but still had 1 lap to go.
Dig it in, you can do it I thought to myself. I could see the finish line. I had to sprint to pass other runners. Yeah! We had finally finished. I wonder who came 1st 2nd 3rd. I was so hot and red that I needed something cold to cool me down. My heart's still beating fast. We can go home now.
